Intermediate Emergency Response Driving

Course Description
Developed in response to concerns expressed by both the public and agencies alike, this course enhances the driving abilities of Georgia's law enforcement officers. With a strong emphasis on safe emergency driving techniques, student officers will participate in exercises that enhance the driver's skill set, require appropriate decision-making during pursuit scenarios, and simulate the physiological effects of high-speed driving.
Prerequisites
Before registering for this course, applicants must complete one of the following courses: Basic EVOC or LEEVOC Level 1. In addition, applicants must be current/active law enforcement officers and must possess a valid driver's license.

This course is intended for active law enforcement officers who operate emergency vehicles.
