Drug Awareness, Prevention, and Intervention for School Safety Personnel
Course Hours: 4.0 Hours
Course Description
This course is designed to educate School Resource Officers and School Safety personnel in identifying youth who may be exposed to, or are under the influence of, drugs in a school setting, as well as identifying youth who may be in possession of drugs on a school campus. Identification of these youth will allow for the officer or personnel to provide proper intervention, and provide or facilitate immediate medical assistance.
