Effective Radio Communication

Course Description
This course is designed to help public safety field and administrative personnel overcome common barriers that make effective communication difficult. It will enhance communication skills across all aspects of public safety communication. The areas covered will include Federal Communications Commission guidelines, radio etiquette, proper transmission and broadcast techniques, and tips for overcoming communication barriers and enhancing effective radio communication. While the target audience is the public safety field and administrative personnel, anyone required to use a public safety radio is encouraged to attend.

Who Should Attend
Certified law enforcement officers, corrections officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and communications officers.
