Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 5

Course Description
This course is focused on the further enhancement of reactionary shooting techniques and is a close representative of the Rogers Shooting School. Officers are placed in realistic shooting scenarios and are taught to successfully engage small moving targets in time segments of as little as 1/2 second from various shooting positions, to include weapon-hand and support-hand only.
Training Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, officers will be better equipped to successfully engage deadly force threats with more accuracy, within limited time frames, when necessary.
Prerequisites
Students must be certified and sworn law enforcement officers and have attended and passed Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 3.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for law enforcement officers who desire an extremely challenging pistol course that presents the Reactionary Shooting Concept, It is highly recommended that students have passed Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 3 with at least a Intermediate Level Certification (90%-95% score) or higher.
Special Notes
Officers should bring their service weapon, duty gear (three magazines, magazine holder, and a department or agency issued holster, ie. strong-side directional draw, equipped with a handgun retention device), ear protection, eye protection, and a hat with a brim. Shoulder and ankle holsters are prohibited. Ammunition will be provided in 9MM, .40, and .45 ACP.
