This course provides basic information to the public safety participant regarding their role
and responsibility as a Public Information Officer. The course uses lectures, demonstrations,
discussions, activities, and performance examinations to deliver the information.

This course is designed for public safety personnel that handle relationships with the media.

Please bring clothing and/or uniforms that you would wear to give interviews, hold press conferences and speak with the public. Be prepared to be on camera.
