Gang Recognition for Patrol

Course Description
This course is designed for law enforcement officers investigating gang-related criminal activity. The topics of instruction will equip officers with skills and knowledge to recognize and properly document gang culture, gang paraphernalia, and gang members who participate in criminal activities. This course is a pre-requisite for the Gang Intelligence/Investigation Course.
Prerequisites
1) Students attending this training must be employed by a law enforcement agency as an active certified peace officer of this state or its political subdivisions, charged with the duty of enforcing the criminal laws regarding criminal gang activity.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for POST certified officers who assigned to a uniform division.

Students coming to this course should bring a laptop computer to view the course materials.
