Human Trafficking: Exposing Criminal Networks behind the Korean Sex Market

Course Description

This educational symposium will provide public safety professionals with information on human trafficking. Attendees will gain knowledge and understanding of the Korean commercial sex market and its relationship to organized crime. They will learn the basics of how to investigate transnational criminal activities from various angles. Attendees will learn to recognize potential victims of human trafficking, perpetrator characteristics, trafficking techniques, and Georgia specific perpetrators and their facilitators operating in the Georgia sex trafficking market.
