GPA Instructor Workshop

Course Hours: 8.0 Hours

Course Description

This workshop is designed to help instructors develop an effective course curriculum that fosters an innovative learning environment for students. Instructors will review development strategies for writing terminal performance objectives (TPOs) and enabling objectives (EOs). This will include instructions on creating a Program of Instruction (POI) for course delivery, covering course learning objectives for both written and performance-based exams. In addition to course development techniques, instructors will utilize various methods to implement practical exercises and performance exams. Upon completing the workshop, instructors will be encouraged to incorporate new techniques into their respective course curricula.

Students should bring a laptop with connectivity capability to class. Students should also have an accessible Master Course File open for editing to use in the practical exercise portions of this class.
