Active Shooter: ALERRT CRCC
Course Hours: 15.0 Hours
Local law enforcement agencies are often asked to provide guidance to their communities about what civilians should do if faced with an active attack threat. The Civilian Response and Casualty Care (CRCC) course is a two-day, direct-delivery, train-the-trainer course designed to provide first responders with a model response program they can deliver to civilians within their communities. The course, built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD)/Run, Hide, Fight strategy, combines with the DHS approved Stop the Bleed Program, to provide instructors with the course materials and presentations to be able to deliver the Civilian Response and Casualty Care program to any civilian group.
