Advanced Photography and Digital Imaging

Course Hours: 32.0 Hours

Course Description

During this course, the student will learn methods necessary to properly compose crime scene photographs in a low light setting and to manually operate a single-lens reflex camera.   The student will also learn to properly compose macro photographs and perform critical comparison photography.  The student will accomplish this by attending lectures and completing practical exercises. Testing includes both performance and cognitive examinations.

Prerequisites

Prior to enrollment the officer must have successfully completed the GPSTC Basic Photography and Digital Imaging course.

Who Should Attend

Public safety professionals who are assigned the complex tasks of photographing evidence or investigative functions should attend.
