Basic Community Risk Reduction Educator

Course Description

This course provides the foundation and resources for volunteer and career firefighters, support personnel, and injury prevention educators to make a positive change in the community by educating on risk reduction topics and offering programs and resources for all communities.

Any members of the public safety community and other safety advocates.

Special Notes

This is a Georgia Association of Fire Chief's Initiative Direct-Delivery course mostly offered off-campus. (It was designed to increase awareness and reduce the upward trending fire fatalities statewide, after 2016 recorded 154 fire fatalities; the highest documented since 1995.)
