Course Description
This educational symposium will provide public safety professionals (law enforcement, prosecutors, and child protective services) with information on all forms of human trafficking. Attendees will learn to recognize potential victims of both sex and labor trafficking, important tips on evidence collection, intersections with gang activity and investigations, specific state and federal statues related to human trafficking, and the statewide anti- trafficking network in place to effectively respond, support, and provide resources for victims, witnesses, and public safety personnel.
