Who Should Attend
This course is designed specifically for law enforcement officers; however, public safety personnel from other disciplines may also find the information helpful.
This course is approved by POST as a Community Policing elective. Students who successfully complete the course will earn 1 hour of POST credit; however, officers are required to obtain at least 2 hours of Community Policing credit per year. This course alone does not meet that requirement; officers must complete other recognized electives to earn that credit. Failure to attain the minimum required score will result in a failure of the class. Should the student choose to repeat the course, tuition will be charged at the rate of $15 per credit hour. Tuition must be paid before the student will have access to the course.
