Who Should Attend: Anyone employed with a local, state, or federal law enforcement agency and is designated to carry and use a TASER on duty.

Prerequisite: Letter must be submitted from agency letter head stating that the student will be assigned a TASER upon successful completion for carry and use of a TASER while on duty.

This course is designed to certify the user in the use of the TASER Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW), specifically the X26. This course provides a brief overview of CEW technology, medical safety, and use in tactical considerations. The student will experience the effects of the TASER, and deploy the TASER in various practical applications. TASER exposure is mandatory.

Special Notes: Student must bring duty gear (minus firearm, ammo, OC spray, baton). Agency supplied TASER is optional as the student will be assigned a TASER for in-class use. Comfortable clothes should be worn for the duration of this course.
