Night Driving Techniques
Course Hours: 16.0 Hours
Course Description
This course is designed to introduce current/active law enforcement officers to the unique challenges associated with night driving and night driving pursuits. Officers will learn how to drive safely at night at high speeds and learn how to employ night driving tactics.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of one of the following courses: Basic Law Enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (BLEVOC), or Law Enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations Course Level 1 (LEEVOC 1). Students must be current/active law enforcement officers and must possess a valid driver's license.
Who Should Attend
This course should be attended by all employees of local, state and federal agencies who operate motor vehicles.
