Law Enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations Course Level 2
Course Hours: 40.0 Hours
In response to concerns expressed by both the public and agencies alike, this course has been developed to enhance the driving abilities of Georgia's Law Enforcement Officers. With a strong emphasis on safe emergency driving techniques, the officers will participate in exercises which enhance the driver's skill set, require appropriate decision making during pursuit scenarios, provide the realistic physiological effects on the body, and demonstrate alternative choices in pursuit termination.
As a result of this training, the officer will be better prepared to operate an emergency vehicle in a safe, yet expeditious, manner.
Successful completion of one of the following courses: Basic EVOC or LEEVOC Level 1. Officers must be current/active law enforcement officials and must possess a valid driver's license.
