Law Enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations Course Level 2
Course Hours: 40.0 Hours
This course was developed in response to public and agency concern over fatal accidents occurring during law enforcement pursuits. With that in mind, this course emphasizes safe emergency driving techniques, appropriate decision making during pursuits, alternatives in pursuit situations, the physiological effects on the body during a pursuit, and requires an officer to demonstrate a necessary skill level to be more proficient on high speed and pursuit driving techniques to include qualification on the Rural Track going clock-wise and counter-clockwise and receive familiarization for driving in an urban setting.
Successful completion of one of the following courses: Basic EVOC or LEEVOC Level 1. Officers must be current/active law enforcement officials and must possess a valid driver's license.
