Basic Law Enforcement Equivalency Performance Exam
Course Hours: 40.0 Hours
Course Description
To administer the performance exam for Firearms, EVOC, First Aid and CPR that are assoicated to the equivalency test administered by Georgia POST. Basic EVOC - 24 hours, Firearms Qualification - 8 hours, First Aid, CPR, AED - 8 hours.
Prerequisites
Student must successfully pass the Equivalency of Training test administered by Georgia POST and be POST approved to take the performance exam.
Who Should Attend
Federal Peace Officers, Military Peace Officers, Out-of-State Peace Officers, Pre-Service candidates and Inactive registered Georgia Peace Officers actively employed in law enforcement or who have graduated from a Basic Law Enforcement training course within 3 years are eligible for Equivalency of Training.
