Momentum Angle Measurement Refresher
Course Hours: 8.0 Hours
Course Description
This course prepares students to perform a momentum analysis of vehicles involved in a collision. Students review best practices for measuring angles of entry and departure from a collision, calculating pre-impact and impact speeds, and determining angles of impulse and change in velocities affecting the involved vehicles.
Prerequisites
Traffic Accident Reconstruction Level 3 or its equivalent is a prerequisite for course attendance. Students will need to be fully conversant in the use of conservation of momentum as a method to determine velocities from crash-involved vehicles.
