Momentum Angle Measurement Update
Course Hours: 8.0 Hours
This course is developed to prepare individuals to perform a momentum analysis of vehicles involved in a collision. It is designed to teach students best practices for measuring angles of entry and departure from a collision, calculate pre-impact and impact speeds, determine angles of impulse and change in velocities affecting the involved vehicles.
Students attending this course must have already completed Traffic Accident Reconstruction Level III or it's equivalent. Students will need to be fully conversant in the use of conservation of momentum as a method to determine velocities from crash involved vehicles.
