Momentum Angle Measurement Update
Course Hours: 8.0 Hours
This course is developed to prepare individuals to perform a momentum analysis of vehicles involved in a collision. It is designed to teach students best practices for measuring angles of entry and departure from a collision, calculate pre-impact and impact speeds, determine angles of impulse and change in velocities affecting the involved vehicles.
Students attending this course must have already completed Traffic Accident Reconstruction Level 3 or it's equivalent. Students will need to be fully conversant in the use of conservation of momentum as a method to determine velocities from crash involved vehicles.
