This course will cover topics such as the history of friction ridge identification, the friction ridge medium, and the identification process.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite for this course is completion of the 40-hour Fingerprint Classification course or its approved equivalent.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for members of public safety who are involved in crime scene processing where friction ridge evidence may be located or for members of public safety who compare friction ridge evidence.
Special Notes
This course replaces the Latent Print Identification course. Please print or download the student manual and have it available for class.
