Friction Ridge Comparisons
Course Hours: 24.0 Hours
This course will cover topics such as the historical overview of friction ridge comparisons, the scientific basis of friction ridge comparisons, court acceptance of friction ridge evidence, and the comparison of friction ridges.
The prerequisite for this course is completion of the 40-hour Fingerprint Classification course or its approved equivalent.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for members of public safety who are involved in crime scene processing where friction ridge evidence may be located or for members of public safety who compare friction ridge evidence.
