Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 3

Course Description
This course is designed to teach the reactionary shooting technique, where officers are placed in realistic shooting scenarios, and are taught to successfully engage small moving targets in time segments of as little as 1/2 second from an unstable shooting position.
Prerequisites
Students must be certified and sworn law enforcement officers and have attended Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 2 or possess Firearms Instructor certification.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for law enforcement officers who desire a challenging pistol course that presents the reactionary shooting concept and realistic range exercises.
Special Notes
Officers should bring their service weapon, duty gear (the holster must be department or agency issue), ie. duty-type (patrol), strong-side directional draw, equipped with a handgun retention device and securely fastened to the gun belt, ear protection, eye protection, and a hat with a brim. Ammunition will be provided in 9MM, .40, .45 ACP.
