On-Scene Traffic Accident Investigation Level 1

Course Description
This is a 72 hour traffic accident investigation course which stresses evidence recognition, interpretation, and collection procedures.
Who Should Attend
This course is open to city, county and state public safety personnel. Others wishing to attend must have the approval of the course coordinator and the Director of the Georgia Police Academy.
Special Notes
Students attending this course will need to bring the following items to class: IPTM Traffic Template, flex curve, and a bow compass. You will also need clothing suitable for outside work, including rain gear. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop computer, with Microsoft PowerPoint, to class. Printed material will not be issued in class. Students must either download or print class materials to be allowed to attend.
