DUI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Update
Course Hours: 8.0 Hours
Course Description
This course is designed to refresh and update the participant with the NHTSA SFST test battery, to include Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, the Walk and Turn, and the One Leg Stand test.
Prerequisites
Officers must successfully complete the 24-hour DUI Standardized Field Sobriety Testing course prior to attending this course.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for law enforcement officers who have successfully completed the 24 hour DUI/SFST course. It is recommended that this course be utilized every two years as a refresher in order to maintain proficiency in the application of SFST's, and in order to receive curriculum updates.
