Technical Rescue: Trench Rescue Technician

Course Description
This scope of this course is to serve as a general overview of the skills needed to perform as a trench rescue technician according to NFPA Standards. Skills demonstrated and practiced during the course will benefit any rescuer and/or rescue team that may respond to trench rescue incidents.
Prerequisites
The candidate must have successfully completed Technical Rescue Core Qualifications, or Technical Rescue Core Qualifications Skill Challenge, and Technical Rescue: Confined Space Techniques (32 hr).
Who Should Attend
This class will benefit those departments that currently operate a trench rescue team or have the possibility of being deployed on a SAR team.
Special Notes
Upon completion of this course a NPQ written test will be given to all students for a Pro Board qualifications.
