Clandestine Laboratory Site Safety Officer

Course Description
This 24 hour course is intended for the certified clandestine laboratory investigator and is designed to continue the investigator?s clandestine laboratory training by giving more in-depth training and information on the necessary regulations the investigator should follow. Following these regulations will allow the clandestine laboratory investigator to safely conduct a clandestine laboratory investigation and the removal of toxic chemicals and contaminated containers. At the completion of this course, the student should be able to work as a site safety officer in the on-scene Incident Command System, handling safety related issues.
Prerequisites
Students should have already completed a Basic Clandestine Investigators course and must have maintained that investigator certification through the mandatory annual re-certification specified by OSHA 1910.120 & 1910.134.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for the Clandestine Laboratory investigator who may be required to function as a site safety officer at future clandestine laboratory investigative sites.
