Weight Training and Fitness
Course Hours: 24.0 Hours
This course is designed for public safety personnel who are interested in improving their overall physical fitness, with an emphasis on strength training. Topics include nutrition, supplementation, weight and fitness training, basic cardiovascular fitness, and workout program design.
To teach officers how to implement a weight training program in accordance with the guidelines for healthy living.
Must be a public safety professional.
Who Should Attend
Any employed as a public safety professional.
Students must bring walking/running, non-marking court shoes and workout clothes. Please review the student manual below for this course.
