Advanced Arrest Team 1
Course Hours: 8.0 Hours
Course Description
Advanced Arrest Team 1 is an eight (8) hour course that utilizes simunitions, inert Taser cartridges, and O.C. to focus on the use of force situations that arrest teams may encounter. Officers will participate in various role-playing scenarios throughout the day practicing the proper techniques associated with building clearing and arrest execution. Appropriate attire and gear include duty uniform, a fully equipped duty belt, body armor, and handcuffs with a key. Please leave firearms and live ammo, O.C., baton, and live taser cartridges locked in your vehicle. Inert training aids will be used during practical exercises.
