Course Description
Initial Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) Training is an instruction on a systematic treatment strategy that seeks to decrease recidivism among juveniles and adult criminal offenders by increasing moral reasoning. Certified MRT staff will increase understanding and have clarity of program structure during block of instruction. This is a four-day training to prepare staff in becoming a certified MRT facilitator. This training includes lecture, group work, homework, and individual exercises.

Georgia Department of Corrections Counseling Staff, Multifunctional Correctional Officers and any staff identified.
