Course Description
The Mental Health First Aid course is designed to teach Fire / EMS personnel how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or problem. Topics covered include the prevalence of mental health issues in the US, signs and symptom of anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions, and the Mental Health Action Plan.
