Georgia School Safety Summit GS3 Conference

Course Description

The Georgia Alliance for School Resource Officers and Educators (GASROE) comprised of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC), Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council,  and the Habersham County Sheriff Office, bring forth specialized training to better protect our youth in schools. This four-day conference will offer training on building the SRO and Admin collaborative relationship, strengthening SRO and student relationships, discuss the importance behavioral threat assessments and emergency operations in schools, and gain an overall understanding of youth behavior for effective response techniques. Interested attendees will need to register with GASROE at www.gasroe.org. Once your GASROE registration is complete, you will be prompted via email to register with GPSTC. 


Prerequisites

All interested attendees will need to register with the Georgia Alliance for School Resource Officers and Educators (GASROE) at www.gasroe.org prior to registering with GPSTC. 

Who Should Attend

Active or future School Resource Officers (SRO), SRO program supervisors, first responders, Georgia school administrators, counselors, and other supportive staff involved in school safety.
