The Dispatcher's Role in Mayday Situations

Course Description

This course will present information about different scenarios that would warrant a firefighter issuing a "Mayday" call. Attendees will examine what the communications officer's role is during such an event. Students will also have an opportunity to view the Fire Service's demo acting out various fire-related situations. 

Who Should Attend

Communication Officers, CTO's, and Supervisors.

This is a 4 hour block of instruction being presented as in-service training in cooperation with the Georgia Fire Academy.
