Course Description
This course is designed to teach officers how to respond to realistic shooting scenarios that include judgment and decision making. The course will include shooting on the move, engaging targets at varying distances, using cover, and working in and around vehicles.
Training Outcomes
This course is designed to ensure that those that graduate will be more proficient, capable and knowledgeable of how to utilize the semi-automatic pistol to its best capacity, while engaging threat and non-threat targets.
Prerequisites
Students must be certified and sworn law enforcement officers and have successfully completed Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 3.
Who Should Attend
This advanced course should be attended by law enforcement officers prepared to sharpen their skills on challenging and realistic pistol range exercises.
Special Notes
Officers should bring their service weapon, duty gear, (the holster must be department or agency issue, duty-type (patrol), strong-side directional draw, equipped with a handgun retention device and securely fastened to the gun belt). Ammunition will be provided in 9MM, .40, .45 ACP.
