Course Description

This course will cover topics such as the comparison, evaluation, and verification portions of the most predominantly accepted friction ridge identification methodology. This course will serve as the second in a five course series of more advanced latent print courses taught by the Police Academy Division. 

Prerequisites

Completion of Intermediate Friction Ridge Analysis 1

Who Should Attend

The target audience for this course will be those who are already involved in the forensic discipline of latent print identification. These students should not be beginners in the field, but practitioners who want to develop their skill to a level at which they can take and pass a case-working Latent Print Examiner competency test.

Special Notes

Students attending this course will be required to pass a pretest on the first morning after registration. The pretest will cover material from previous classes taught in the friction ridge analysis series of courses.
