Semi-Automatic Pistol Level 2

Course Description
This course is the second in
a series of four advanced pistol courses offered by the Georgia Public Safety
Training Center. This course is designed
to enhance and expand the weapon handling skills of officers who use semi-automatic
pistols while employed as a law enforcement officer. This course meets the requirements for POST
Advanced Certification.
Training Outcomes
The officers will be proficient engaging multiple threats from many different positions with speed and accuracy.
Prerequisites
Must be Certified and Sworn Law Enforcement. All officers must be able to shoot a 80% score on the GPSTC Standard Qualification course on the first morning of class.

Certified/Sworn Law Enforcment.
Special Notes
This course meets the requirements for POST Advanced Certification. Officers should bring their service weapon, agency issued duty gear with retention holster, three magazines, magazine pouch, eye protection, ear protection, and a hat with a brim. Ammunition will be provided in 9MM, .40, 45 A.C.P. and 45 GAP.
