Crime Analysis is a challenging, specialized course that offers a "hands-on" approach that provides the student with techniques for solving the real-world problems confronting crime analysts today. The course is designed to provide insight to patrol and investigative officers, anti-terrorism personnel, and community policing personnel who conduct crime analysis on a daily basis. Presented in a comfortable, limited-seating environment that permits individual coaching, the training utilizes a learn-by-doing approach that provides continuous opportunities to actually perform the tasks associated with crime analyst work. This format of instruction allows for a highly interactive exchange between the student and the facilitator, and creates a climate which is conducive to the learning process.
