Course Description
This independent online course is designed to provide law enforcement officers a review of relevant statutory and case law related to the law enforcement use of force. Special emphasis is place on officer safety from both a physical and legal perspective. Specific cases are highlighted to illustrate lessons learned, in order to prepare officers to apply the concepts discussed in the course.

Special Notes
This course satisfies POST requirements for annual use of force/deadly force training. Failure to attain the minimum required score will result in a failure of the class. Should the student choose to repeat the course, tuition will be charged at the rate of $45. Tuition must be paid before the student will have access to the course.
