Tactical Low Light Skills
Course Hours: 16.0 Hours
Course Description
This course is designed to allow officers to train in a low light
environment. By utilizing night time range drills and the low light training
building, officers will participate in marksmanship drills and scenarios, while
operating in conditions where there is reduced or no lighting.
Training Outcomes
Students will have a better understanding of of the factors that affect operating in low light conditions and the skills to more more effectively utilize a handheld flashlight.
Prerequisites
Students attending must be certified and sworn law enforcement officers.
Who Should Attend
Certified local, state and federal law enforcement.
Special Notes
Students must bring their semi-automatic duty pistol, magazines, duty gear, body armor and a hand-held flashlight, as well eye protection, hearing protection and a hat with brim.
