Practical Fire Ground Hydraulics

Course Hours: 16.0 Hours

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to train pump operators in the basic level of fire ground hydraulics. Students will study the basic principles of determining fire flows and pressures and will learn a clipboard hydraulics system eliminating most of the mathematical calculations involved in this task.

Who Should Attend

Persons accepted in this course must be a member of a compliant fire department.  

Special Notes

Students should provide a pocket calculator and writing instrument.  Students shall download course manual and bring to class with them.
