Undercover Operations
Course Hours: 40.0 Hours
Course Description
In the Undercover Operations Course, students learn the skills they need to succeed when they plan, participate in, or act as a cover officer for undercover operations. Students participate in practical exercises that simulate undercover buys, vice operations, and agent rescues.
Prerequisites
Within the previous year, students must have successfully completed the five-hour online Use of Force course that is offered by the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
Who Should Attend
This class is appropriate for investigators in units that conduct proactive investigations of ongoing criminal activity or officers who intend to apply for those units.
Special Notes
Students will participate in practical exercises every day. They should wear clothes suitable for undercover operations. Additionally, students must bring raid gear, including ballistic vests and holsters.
